Signed & notarized — opens with a double-click

Apple has notarized this build. macOS won't show the "cannot be opened" warning. If you do see a warning (for example, on an older cached copy), follow the steps below — it takes 10 seconds.

    Open the downloaded file

    Double-click WorkPulse.dmg in your Downloads folder. A window opens with the app icon and an Applications shortcut.

    Drag the app into Applications

    Drag the WorkPulse icon onto the Applications folder in the same window.

    Launch the app

    Open the Applications folder and double-click WorkPulse. The sign-in dialog appears.

    Grant permissions (Screen Recording + Accessibility)

    On first run the app will ask you to enable Screen Recording and Accessibility access. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, toggle WorkPulse on under each section, then re-launch the app.

Got a Gatekeeper warning anyway?

If macOS still shows "cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software," you probably have a cached pre-notarized copy. Use the right-click bypass once:

  1. In Applications, right-click WorkPulse (or Control+click) → choose Open.
  2. In the warning dialog, click Open. macOS will remember the exception going forward.
  3. Or, redownload from this page to get the fresh notarized build.
