First open on Mac

The app is signed but not App-Store notarized, so the first launch needs one extra click. Open the .dmg, drag NepalHRM into Applications, then in Applications right-click (or Control-click) NepalHRM → Open → Open. macOS remembers the choice, so every launch after that is a normal double-click.

First run on Windows

Windows may show a blue "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting" dialog. Click More info, then Run anyway. This is a one-time prompt — SmartScreen trusts the app after you confirm.

    Install and open

    Run the installer (Windows) or drag NepalHRM into Applications (Mac), then launch it. The app opens straight to the NepalHRM sign-in screen.

    Sign in once

    Enter your NepalHRM email and password. The desktop app keeps you signed in between launches, so you don't have to log in every day.

    Use it like the web app

    Everything from the browser dashboard works the same in the window — attendance, payroll, reimbursements, standups. Notifications show as long as the app is running.
